What to Expect During Your Appointment

Your fibroblast session begins with a thorough consultation to assess your skin’s condition and treatment goals. Once the area is cleansed, a topical numbing cream is applied for comfort.

Using a handheld device, plasma energy is delivered to the surface of the skin in small, controlled bursts. This creates tiny thermal injuries (carbon dots) that stimulate immediate skin contraction and jumpstart collagen production.

The treatment typically takes 30–60 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated.

You’ll notice visible tightening right away, with continued improvement over the following 8–12 weeks as your skin rebuilds and lifts naturally.

How to Prepare Before Your Appointment

• Avoid direct sun exposure for 3–5 days before treatment
• Do not use retinoids or strong exfoliants for at least 3 days prior
• Stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment
• Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, or aspirin for 24–48 hours prior (if medically permitted)
• Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
• Let us know if you have a history of cold sores, pigmentation concerns, or delayed healing

Aftercare & Recovery

After your treatment, you may see small, brown carbon crusts where the plasma was applied—this is normal and part of the healing process.

• Do not pick or scratch the carbon dots; they will flake off naturally in 5–7 days
• Avoid makeup, skincare products, and sun exposure during the healing phase
• Keep the area dry and protected; we’ll provide post-care ointment
• Some redness, swelling, or a sunburn-like sensation may occur for 1–3 days
• Wear high SPF daily once healed to protect your results
• Improvements continue for up to 12 weeks after a single treatment

Depending on your goals, more than one session may be recommended for optimal tightening and rejuvenation.
